Can you believe we’re just a week away from Thanksgiving? I sure can’t! My calendar is filled with Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, and Christmas plans and I couldn’t be happier about it! I’m a big believer that this truly is the most wonderful time of the year! All of these holiday plans has me wondering what I’ll wear to Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving this year?! Here are a few options for Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving outfits that you can create with items already in your closet!
white jeans in fall and winter
I know you have white jeans in your closet! I used to put my white jeans away after Labor Day and take them out again after Easter. However, times are changing…and I love this new “white in the fall and winter” trend! So, grab your favorite pair of white jeans, pair them with a sweater and boots and voila – you’ll have yourself a very chic Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving outfit!
dress, moto jacket, and booties
This is probably the most simple, but cute of the three outfits featured today. All you need is a fun dress with a cute jacket. I picked a dark red dress with a fun, slouchy neck line and paired it with my go-to moto jacket and favorite booties. Since I’m in a brown jacket and booties, I wanted to pick a fun colored dress to make the outfit pop! A pop of color is always a fun touch for Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving outfits!
dress, otk boots, and a scarf
I feel like I have to give this dress some special love. I first saw it on one of my favorite blogs, brightontheday.com. Instantly, I loved it, but didn’t think to buy it. After that first encounter, it kept popping up everywhere! THEN, it was marked down to just $38 during Nordstrom’s fall sale. How could I say no?!
To pull of this Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving outfit, all you need is a dress that makes you feel awesome. I opted for a solid colored dress paired with a chunky scarf with a busy pattern and over the knee boots. I’m not a huge fan of busy dresses, but you can definitely rock a similar look with a dress with a simple pattern (ie: stripes) and a solid colored scarf. Just don’t forget about your fall colors! Olive, is one of my FAVORITES this season (olive pants worn in an outfit in this post).
What Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving outfits are you planning on wearing this year? I would love to see some pics!
Lots of love – ked
